Out of print full color research article from a retired doll publication features the story of "The House of Seven Gables" milkmaid (peg wooden) dolls and furnitures sold at the house of the same name in Salem, Massachusetts in the early 20th century.
Full color photographs (some never seen before) document the story with pictures of original dolls and furniture, construction, historical background and marketing information.
Fifteen original pages (not a copy) including bibliography are produced on semi-gloss magazine weight paper and are in very good condition.
***Article will be backed with cardboard, placed in an acid-free page protector for your binder and marked "Do Not Bend" on outside.
