Valuable out of print research article from a pre-owned publication features a farewell tribute to Mel Odom's glamourous and hugely popular fashion doll, Gene Marshall, introduced in 1995 on the occasion of her retirement.
Beautiful full color photographs document the doll and her fabulous wardrobes and accessories as well as historical information and marketing background. Includes Gene in period costumes from the 40s and 50s and an original 7-page paper doll of Gene as Mildred Pierce drawn by Jim Howard exclusively for this article.  Four full page color photographs are suitable for framing.
Twenty-six original pages (not a copy) on high quality magazine-gloss letter-size paper are in excellent condition.
Article will be backed with highest grade cardboard, placed in an acid-free page protector, shipped in a Tyvek envelope and marked "Do Not Bend" on outside.
